Symposium on Sustainable Agriculture Value Chains - Gain certification in Circularity in Coffee Value Chains
The Symposium's Mission
Equip participants in coffee production in a sustainable food system (Farm+Processing) by understanding the socio-ecological framework, market potential and buyer/access criteria to novel markets, while saving money through sustainable farming on the long-term and making money through alternative ways of growing coffee.
Core Curriculum
At this symposium, leading facilitators from ETH Zurich, JKUAT, University of Embu, and the African Milling School will train postgraduate students and young professionals to extract the highest value across the entire coffee beans value chain. Through a unique blend of core theoretical lectures and practical breakout sessions, participants will acquire a granular understanding of how to optimize coffee production from seed to mug.
Interactive Business Canvas: Throughout the three-day duration, participants will be systematically guided to design and iterate their own professional Business Canvas, applying theoretical concepts in real-time to actionable agro-business models.
